Hannon v. Roper, 1D06-389
A petition for certiorari review of an order granting a doctor's motion for a protective order in a medical negligence action is granted where the trial court departed from the essential requirements of law in authorizing decedent's physician, who was not a party to the litigation, to have ex parte communications concerning decedent's medical care and treatment with an attorney hired by a representative of defendant-hospital.
