District Court of Appeal of Florida

Florida Hosp. Deland v. Wagner-Vick, 1D05-3596

A final workers' compensation order awarding claimant certain compensation benefits and denying others is affirmed for the most part on an appeal by the employer/carrier, but reversed as to the issues raised by claimant on her cross-appeal where: 1) the JCC erred in denying a claim for TTD benefits from a particular date onward; and 2) the JCC erred as a matter of law in finding the care provided claimant by certain doctors was not medically necessary, and consequently denying their medical bills for the services rendered.
