District Court of Appeal of Florida

Deutsch v. Heritage Auto. Enters., 1D05-0669

An order in a workers' compensation case finding claimant-used car salesman-s injury not compensable is reversed where, even if claimant-s injuries -- from getting run over while off-premises in pursuit of a thief -- did not qualify under the general definition of compensable injuries, as a JCC found, the injuries still fell within a statutory exception and were thus compensable.
