Denial of motion to dismiss counsel and proceed pro se is reversed and remanded where the trial court failed to make the necessary finding under Faretta that appellant knowingly and intelligently sought to waive his right to counsel. The court instead considered appellant's competence to represent himself which is not a subject of inquiry under Faretta.
