The Doctors Co. v. State of Florida, 1D05-5643

An adverse final judgment awarding the Department of Financial Services $17.9 million in damages and prejudgment interest in a breach of contract action is affirmed where the court did not err in excluding the testimony of defendant-insurer's expert witnesses or in denying its motion for a continuance filed on the eve of trial.
