District Court of Appeal of Florida

Guardian Ad Litem Program v. Dep't of Children & Families, 5D06-1764

Placement of a child along with her two half-siblings with the paternal grandparent of the half-siblings is affirmed where the trial judge under the circumstances of the case was in a better position than the district court to evaluate how best to provide for the care of the child, there was no jurisdiction to review the order that gave rise to the primary complaints of appellant, and there was no abuse of discretion in a denial of appellant's motions.
