District Court of Appeal of Florida
Garcia v. State, 3d02-3285
Conviction on charges involving the issuance, supplying and use of a false identification card is affirmed over arguments that: 1) the court's comments during voir dire were improper and constituted fundamental error; 2) the charges violated double jeopardy; and 3) there was insufficient evidence. Conviction for modification of intellectual property is reversed where defendant only added data to a computer system, and did not modify any existing data.
