City of Clearwater v. Williamson, 2D05-2936
A judgment entered pursuant to a jury's finding defendants, a city and former police detective, liable for malicious prosecution, false arrest and imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional harm is reversed where the police detective possessed probable cause to arrest plaintiff, and thus the trial court erred in denying motions for directed verdict.
