A.S. v. Gift of Life Adoptions, Inc., 2D05-3614, 2D05-3615

In the relatively rare circumstances in which a putative biological father, who did not comply with the Florida Putative Father Registry, section 63.054, files an action to determine parentage under Florida Statutes chapter 742 before the conclusion of an adoption, the putative father is entitled to resolution of the chapter 742 proceeding prior to the adoption.
