Petition for writ of habeas corpus is denied over claims of ineffective assistance of counsel where: 1) counsel is not required to raise a meritless claim; 2) a voir dire inquiry was proper and the issue was not preserved for appeal; 3) calling of a witness did not violate the attorney-client privilege; and 4) jury instructions were not erroneous.
