District Court of Appeal of Florida

Guzman v. State of Florida, 03-3085

The trial court did not err in refusing to grant a challenge for cause against a prospective juror where, throughout his voir dire responses, the prospective jury consistently indicated that he would look for corroborative testimony, and expect to hear from both sides, but stressed that he would ultimately base his decision "upon the evidence presented."
