A conviction for attempted voluntary manslaughter is affirmed over claims of error regarding: (1) a denial of a motion to suppress; (2) admission of hearsay evidence as an excited utterance; and (3) a failure to conduct a Faretta inquiry upon defendant's request to represent himself.
