Carrada v. State, 3D03-2996

Conviction for leaving the scene of a crash resulting in personal injury, in violation of section 316.027(1), Florida Statutes (2001), is reversed and remanded, where the prosecutor was erroneously permitted to place a witness on the stand, with knowledge that he was to testify adversely, for the sole purpose of "impeaching" him with a devastating prior statement.
