District Court of Appeal of Florida

Jibory v. City of Jacksonville, 1D05-0846

Summary judgment for defendant in a civil rights action based on a claim of false imprisonment is reversed because the warrant upon which plaintiff was arrested was void, and a good-faith defense did not apply since defendant failed to delete the warrant from its computer records after defendant's officers executed it.
