Supreme Court of Delaware
Hall v. State of Delaware, 62, 2009
Conviction of defendant for drug related offenses is affirmed where: 1) defendant's motion to suppress was properly denied as trial judge properly relied upon Loftland v. State in ruling that defendant's detention was justified by a reasonably and articulable suspicion; and 2) that detention led to a valid warrantless search of the vehicle and the evidence seized provided a proper basis for defendant's arrest after his detention.
