Wright v. Moore, 392, 2006

In a personal injury matter raising an issue regarding the admissibility of settlement evidence, a judgment pursuant to a jury verdict against plaintiff is reversed and remanded for a new trial, where: 1) the use of evidence of a settlement regarding a prior accident was error as there was no risk of jury confusion; and 2) defendant used the settlement information at issue for an improper purpose.
