Supreme Court of Delaware
Tolson v. State of Delaware, 93, 2005
A conviction for drug-related offenses is affirmed over his claims of error that the superior court erred: 1) in concluding that the police had probable cause to arrest him; 2) by determining that an inculpatory post-arrest statement to the police was not the product of interrogation; and 3) by admitting into evidence measurements of the distance between the arrest location and a neighboring school/church building, based on the results of an electronic range finder device.
