Supreme Court of Delaware
Watson v. State of Delaware, 116, 2005
Defendant's conviction and life sentence as a habitual offender for drug trafficking is affirmed despite legislative reclassification of one of his prior offenses since the habitual offender statute identifies trafficking as a predicate crime and provides no exception for earlier convictions that are reclassified.
