Court of Chancery of Delaware
In the Matter of: Purvis, 2395-K
In a guardianship case involving petitions of parents, a former care-giver, and the state for guardianship of a disabled individual, the court finds that, primarily because neither the parents nor the former caretaker are financially able to meet the rather extensive medical requirements that would fall on their shoulders in such a situation, it is in her best interest to continue as the ward of the Public Guardian.
