Supreme Court of California

County of San Diego v. Commission on State Mandates, 239907

Held that the Commission on State Mandates erred when it determined that, in light of Jessica's Law (Proposition 83), the State of California no longer had an obligation to reimburse county governments for certain costs of implementing the Sexually Violent Predators Act. Remanded the matter to the Commission for additional determinations.
