Facebook, Inc. v. The Superior Court of the City and County of San Francisco, 230051

Affirming the Court of Appeal's determination that subpoenas by defendants in a driveby shooting case seeking Facebook data for the victims were unenforceable under the federal Stored Communications Act, but holding that the court erred in finding that it barred disclosure by providers of communications that were configured by the registered user to be public and remained so configured at the time subpoenas were issued.
