Supreme Court of California
Dynamex Operations West, Inc. v. The Superior Court of Los Angeles County, 222732
Affirming a Court of Appeals determination that the trial court did not err in concluding that the definition of employ based on suffering or permitting to work contained in a wage order could be relied upon in evaluating whether a worker is an employee or an independent contractor for the purpose of obligations imposed by a wage order and affirming that the court did not abuse its discretion in certifying the drivers as a class.
