In a civil actions against operators of Internet cafes businesses that featured devices that resemble prohibited traditional casino-style slot machines in some ways and offer users the chance to win sweepstakes prizes, the Court of Appeal's decision in favor of the Government is affirmed where such devices come within the statutory definition of a "slot machine or device" in Penal Code section 330b.
