Supreme Court of California
People v. Goldsmith, S201443
Defendant's conviction for failing to stop at a red traffic light at an intersection is affirmed, where: 1) evidence generated by a red light traffic camera was admitted to support the charge against defendant; 2) the trial court did not abuse its discretion in finding the officer's testimony in this case provided sufficient authentication to admit the red light traffic camera evidence; and 3) the red light camera evidence was not hearsay.
