Supreme Court of California

People v. Williams, S118629

Defendant's multiple convictions including first degree murders and sentence of death are affirmed, where: 1) defendant's speedy trial claim fails; 2) defendant's Sixth Amendment right of self-representation was not violated when the trial court revoked his Faretta status for engaging in delay tactics; 3) the trial court did not err in refusing to remove standby counsel; and 4) defendant's multiple remaining claims of error fail.
