Supreme Court of California
People v. Thomas, S048337
On automatic appeal of death sentences imposed on a count of second degree murder and two counts of first degree murder, the judgment is affirmed against numerous assertions of trial error and constitutional violations, but modified to reduce the sentence imposed for second degree murder to fifteen years to life, as second-degree murder is not punishable by death.
