Supreme Court of California
People v. Maikhio, S180289
In a dispute arising from a warrantless search of defendant's vehicle by a game warden, judgment of the court of appeals upholding the suppression of the resultant evidence on the ground that the search and seizure were unconstitutional is reversed where, on balance, the vehicle stop and demand at issue constitutes a reasonable procedure under the Fourth Amendment.
