People v. Troyer, S180759

Conviction and enhanced sentences for unlawful possession of marijuana, sale and unauthorized cultivation of marijuana are affirmed where the contested search was legal because the police did not need ironclad proof of a likely serious, life-threatening injury to invoke the emergency aid exception to the warrant requirement in order to enter the bedroom, but merely an objectively reasonable basis for believing that medical assistance was needed, or persons were in danger.
