Supreme Court of California

People v. Leon, S137137

In a matter arising from arrests made pursuant to an investigation into the Arellano-Felix drug trafficking organization, denial of defendants' motions to suppress evidence of the contents and fruits of certain wiretaps is affirmed over claims that the wiretaps violated Pen. Code section 629.52(d) and the Fourth Amendment in that the government's affidavits in support of the applications failed to establish necessity for the wiretaps.
