Supreme Court of California

City of Goleta v. Superior Court of Santa Barbara County, S129125

In a case involving the Subdivision Map Act, the court finds that the city of Goleta, a newly incorporated city, had discretion to disapprove a final subdivision map even though the vesting tentative subdivision map had been approved by the county, and further, actions taken by the city did not divest it of this discretion or subject it to estoppel.
