A conviction and death sentence for murder, burglary, and robbery is affirmed, with the exception of a sentence enhancement for prior convictions, over claims of error regarding: 1) instructional error; 2) Miranda and Doyle issues; 3) admission of evidence; 4) the effect on the jury of defendant's misconduct during trial; 5) a refusal to excuse defendant from the courtroom; 6) an agreement to excuse defendant; 7) adequacy of the record; 8) prosecutorial misconduct; 9) sufficiency of the evidence; 10) a Batson-Wheeler claim; 11) impeachment evidence; 12) cumulative error; 13) the constitutionality of the death penalty law; and 14) delay in imposing capital punishment.
