In automatic appeal from death sentence on multiple guilt and penalty phase issues, 1) admission of evidence of a similar prior murder was proper to show intent and design, 2) limited testimony by a pathologist on the similarity of killings and whether they were "methodical" was permissible, and 3) jury misconduct did not occur.
