Reversed. Defendant struck his girlfriend and fled from law enforcement. He was convicted and sentenced. Defendant sought reversal of two counts of his conviction on the grounds that his counsel conceded guilt without his consent. The appeals court rejected that argument but found that he should have been considered for his eligibility for mental health diversion.
