Wolf v. Superior Court, 071318

Writ of mandate granted. Defendant pled guilty to misdemeanor of making harassing telephone calls. The trial court ordered probation and one day in jail and a criminal protective order. Defendant sought to withdraw plea, but trial court denied. Defendant appealed denial and requested appointment of appellate counsel which was denied. Appellate court granted writ and ordered trial court to grant Defendant’s request for court-appointed counsel.
