Reversed. A.C. is a ward of the juvenile court who made statements to an in-home counselor who interpreted them as threats. The juvenile court found that A.C. had violated the conditions of his probation by making criminal threats. The appeals court held that the statements made lacked the required intent that the threat be taken seriously.
