Stokes v. Baker, 279241

In a medical malpractice case against an emergency room doctor, held that a statutory requirement addressing the qualification of expert witnesses applied only to testimony about the standard of care. Thus, a non-emergency room physician could serve as an expert on the question of causation. Reversed the decision below.
