Cox v. Griffin, 074893

Held that a plaintiff could not recover against her former business partner for intentionally filing a false police report accusing her of a crime. Citizen reports of suspected criminal activity cannot be the basis for a claim of false imprisonment or intentional infliction of emotional distress, as opposed to malicious prosecution. Affirmed a JNOV.
