University of Southern California v. Superior Court (Barenborg), 288180

Held that a college had no duty to protect members of the public from the conduct of a third party at an off-campus fraternity party. The plaintiff suffered serious injuries when another partygoer bumped into her and she fell from a makeshift raised platform at a fraternity party. Granted the university's writ petition challenging the denial of its summary judgment motion.
