California Court of Appeal

Doe v. University of Southern California , 271834

Held that a college student was denied a fair hearing on charges of raping another student that led to his expulsion from the university. The Title IX investigator did not conduct adequate interviews of critical witnesses and the university failed to comply with its own procedures. Reversed and remanded with directions to grant a writ of administrative mandamus.
