Martinez v. Eatlite One, Inc., 055096
Held that a Subway sandwich store employee who received an $11,000 jury award on her pregnancy discrimination claims was not entitled to certain attorney fees and costs because she did not obtain a judgment more favorable than the defendant's offer to compromise under California Code of Civil Procedure section 998. Reversed the portions of the trial court's order awarding her post-offer costs and attorney fees.
