California Court of Appeal
Friends of Riverside's Hills v. City of Riverside, 068350
Held that a citizen organization was not entitled to a writ of mandate to block a city's issuance of a residential development permit. The citizen organization argued that the proposed 11-acre residential development violated certain land use provisions in the city's municipal code. Finding no evidence of the alleged land use violations, the California Fourth Appellate District affirmed denial of the petition for mandamus relief.
