California Court of Appeal

Estate of O'Connor, 071284

Held that a power of appointment exercised in a will complied with the requirements of the California Probate Code. The sole question before the court was whether the language in a decedent's will constituted a valid and effective exercise of the power of appointment under Probate Code section 632. Concluding that it did, the California Fourth Appellate District affirmed the trial court.
