California Court of Appeal

People v. Jackson, 151676

Reversed a conviction of unlawfully taking or driving a vehicle. The defendant contended that his felony conviction under California Vehicle Code section 10851, subdivision (a), must be reversed because it was not proven that the vehicle was worth more than $950. Agreeing, the First Appellate District reversed and remanded, citing People v. Page, 3 Cal. 5th 1175 (2017), which was decided after the trial in this case.
