California Court of Appeal

People v. Stevenson, 143337

Affirmed the convictions of three gang members on multiple counts of first-degree murder and premeditated attempted murder. On appeal, the defendants insisted that the trial court made instructional errors that required reversal of their convictions, including misinstructing the jury regarding motive evidence, the natural and probable consequences theory, and the kill-zone theory of liability of attempted murder. However, the First Appellate District found no error and affirmed the convictions.
