California Court of Appeal

P. v. Berg, 043511

Affirming the judgment albeit modified to correct a clerical error in a case where the defendant, accused of knowingly possessing methamphetamines in the county jail, argued that the trial court abused its discretion in excluding evidence of his voluntary intoxication at the time of his arrest almost two days before the drugs were discovered because evidence of voluntary intoxication is inadmissible to negate the presence of general criminal intent.
