California Court of Appeal
Davis v. County of Fresno, 073151
Reversing and remanding the denial of a petition for mandamus relating to the dismissal of a supervising juvenile correctional officer because although the delivery of various materials prior to the imposition of disciplinary action satisfied some due process requirements the County violated his rights under the Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights by failing to disclose incident reports and interview transcripts made by a special probation investigator looking into a retaliation complaint made by another officer against him, though the record doesn't compel that the court reinstate him and a wide range of remedies will be available on remand.
