California Court of Appeal

County Line Holdings, LLC v. McClanahan, 278790

Reversing the trial court's judgment to the plaintiff in a contest over the priority of two judgment liens where the plaintiff brought action to quiet title against the defendant's senior lien because while cause of action survives one year after the death of a debtor a judgment lien does not, so while the Code of Civil Procedure limits the time to bring a cause of action it does not limit the time to enforce a judgment.
