California Court of Appeal

P. v. Brady, 071024

Affirming the conviction of a man for assault with a deadly weapon after he stabbed a man over jewelry transactions who claimed that no reasonable jury could reach the conclusion that he wasn't acting in self defense, but the court rejected his argument that the objective standard should have taken into account whether a reasonable person with biopolar disorder, posttraumatic stress, and his personal history would have acted as he did.
