California Court of Appeal

P. v. Investco Management and Development LLC, 143307

Affirming the trial court's decision that respondents were successful parties in a suit related to an already settled securities fraud action because the court did not abuse its discretion in finding that the respondents were successful parties enforcing an important right affecting the public and a large group of securities fraud victims, providing necessary, non-duplicative, significant benefits to this group of investors whose litigation expenses were out of proportion with their personal interests and were therefore entitled to attorney fees.
