MMM Holdings, Inc. v. Reich, 053739

Affirming the district court's grant of a motion to strike the complaint under the Code of Civil Procedure's anti-SLAPP statute in a suit brought by companies against an attorney who represented their adversary in a whistleblower qui tam action filed against them claiming conversion, civil theft, unjust enrichment, and unfair competition in his receipt of electronic files his client took with him when he was terminated by the companies because the claims involved the lawyer's petitioning activity and they failed to show they would prevail in their claims.
